Habits, understanding, and creating new

Habits are vital. Habits are us. A lot, if not everything, you are made of psychologically are habits.

What is a habit?
A habit is a settled or regular tendency or practice, especially one that is hard to give up.

Habits are the reason for who we are, but your habits are not set in stone. These patterns are not changed easily but are easy to start a change, they are the reason for happiness and sadness. Just as the programming to your phone is why it works. You want to live a life you enjoy. Gain control of your habits, and you will gain control of your life. It will be a tough road, but it will give the most significant benefit.

How are habits formed?

Habit formation is the process by which a behavior, through regular repetition, becomes automatic or habitual. Habits can be triggered by a goal, abuse, love, or hatred. They are patterns you’ve come back to many times over and have formed your subconscious and unconscious programming that affects your consciousness on a daily bases. Don’t know why you get sad randomly. You’ve probably developed the habit for it, can’t figure out why you are just so successful, again because you formed the proper patterns that created that success.

To rise above the standard, you must first gain control of your habits. I always create systems to help me create progress. My success and future success is from the collection of beneficial patterns that I have developed. Want to be successful in anything, you must first above anything else create helpful habits.

Using old habits and creating new ones

CPC = Create, Repeat, Combine.

CPC is a method I have created to benefit my drive to do all I believe. Combined with many of the other techniques I use, I can accomplish all things. Creating a habit is the beginning. You have to choose what you want to make a pattern. Repeat this pattern then combine this pattern with want you want to change.
An example is:

Create. I want to make exercise a habit. Try not to be a super athlete overnight. Instead, start with push-ups. You’ll get down and begin to doubt yourself or say something negative to make yourself feel foolish for trying if you’ve been reading my other post you’ll know what I believe this is.

Repeat. You now have what you want to accomplish, so do it again and again. You will notice the moment it starts becoming a habit because you will think, I should do it today or you won’t even think about it, and you’ll do it without thinking.

Combining is the final step. This is when you take an old habit, which would be, I can’t do this or I look dumb, this is the habit of negative self-talk. What I do is say, ” yup I do look stupid, but I’m making progress no matter how ridiculous. You are using a negative to reinforce the positive because negative energy is still energy that requires effort.

habits

You can do this anyway. Exercise is only an example to show how CRC is used. I hope you find this as helpful as I do.
